So, I have little time to update this blog. Right now my daughter is (finally) in bed after sitting outside her door as she tried escaping for almost a half hour (while feeding Cole at the same time - guess it's time for some sort of way to keep her locked in her room!) and Cole is sleeping on the couch next to me.
I should be sleeping, especially since I am now fighting my second infection since he was born. I had an ear infection which resulted in a burst ear drum less than a week after Cole's birth, and after 10 days of antibiotics, I am now on another 10 days of drugs for mastitis. I am so worn out.
I will try and update more later. Feeding is going fabulously (such a difference from Ellie), Cole knows his days and nights and last night was our best in terms of stretches of sleep, and Elizabeth is adjusting to life with a little brother and realizing that daddy is the one who can give her more of the time and attention right now which is hard, but I can't express how much I appreciate Mark. I have always appreciated him, but I could tell him every hour how much I love and appreciate his help and that wouldn't be enough, he is my rock and I am so lucky to have him in my life and the father of my children!
Off to rest my weary body.

So glad to see an update Sarah, glad to hear it is going well and I hope your mastitis clears up SOON! Yes, amazing how much we rely on our husbands at this time... Hazel and Marshall got very close in the first weeks Roscoe was around, especially since I was dealing with some feeding and health issues as well. That's usually the way things get distributed when there are two so close, since a lot of Cole's care and feeding requires you!
